Oil paint is no longer being manufactured or sold in stores as it has been phased out so almost all painting done now is with water- based latex or acrylic paints.

Any previously oil painted walls or trim etc. now need to be converted to water- based latex or acrylic paint and will need to be specially primed with a super adherent acrylic primer before being painted with the latex or acrylic finish paint.

Now when painting is done the fumes and odor of oil paint is no longer an issue.
